Bad News For The Race Baiters: Autopsy of Trayvon Martin Verifies Zimmerman’s Story

Zimmerman’s medical records, the police station surveillance video, and now the Martin autopsy report support Zimmerman’s claim of self defense and establish that Martin was the aggressor.

A leaked autopsy reportedly shows that the bullet that killed Florida teen Trayvon Martin was fired from “intermediate range,” which one forensics expert said means anywhere from one to 18 inches away.

The autopsy, conducted by the medical examiner in Volusia County, Fla., also showed that 17-year-old Martin had one small abrasion on his left ring finger below the knuckle, according to the news report. The report could back the account of George Zimmerman, the 28-year-old neighborhood watch captain accused of killing Martin, who has said he fired into Martin’s chest in self-defense as the youth was straddling and pummeling him.

No jury is going to convict Zimmerman of murder based on what evidence has been “leaked” thus far. Thanks to the media feeding frenzy, there will most likely be problems when Zimmerman is acquitted.

Zimmerman May Face Death Penalty For “Hate Crime”

Your federal government at work. This is so ludicrous that it would be funny (Zimmerman is also part-black) if it was not so deadly serious. Now “profiling” is a “hate crime”? This country (or at least its government) has gone completely nuts.

George Zimmerman, the volunteer neighborhood watchman from Florida charged in the killing of unarmed black teen Trayvon Martin, could face federal hate crime charges, WFTV reports.

Zimmerman profiled and stalked Martin before allegedly shooting and killing him Feb. 26, state prosecutors have said, so the FBI is looking into charging Zimmerman with a hate crime, the television station reports.

This story reminds me of Clint Eastwood’s Gran Torino movie.

When soldiers come home from their tours of duty, they generally don’t have a need to pull their weapons out anymore. But 84-year-old vet Fred Ricciutti held on to his, and it’s a good thing he did. He was forced to use the same gun he carried on the frontlines of the Korean War in the early 1950’s to shoot a prowler who broke into his Pittsburgh-area home on Tuesday. Sixty years later, it still does what it’s supposed to do. Too bad somebody had to find that out the hard way.

In the six days before Christmas, gun dealers submitted nearly half-a-million names for checks on criminal records and mental health issues, with 20% coming Dec. 23, according to news reports. That was the second-busiest gun-buying day in history, topped only by firearm purchases on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, The London Telegraph says.

Final tallies for the entire month haven’t been released, but December gun purchases will eclipse November. As of last week, 1,534,414 names had been sent to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, The New York Times reported in an editorial. About 1% of buyers are typically rejected, the paper said. – USA Today

Not sure why the increased interest in firearms, but definitely a growing segment of our economy.

27 Rifles Stolen from California Military Base

 

I guess my question is why did the Army have 27 AK-74 rifles in the first place? I don’t think they are what the Army is using as its standard equipment rifle these days.

FORT IRWIN, CALIF. –  More than two dozen assault rifles have been stolen from a Southern California military base, and investigators sought the public’s help as they looked to arrest suspects and recover the weapons, federal officials said Friday.

Twenty-six AK-74 assault rifles and one Dragunov sniper rifle were stolen from a supply warehouse at Fort Irwin in San Bernardino County on July 15, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says in a statement.

Gun owners and dealers get a bad rap. Obama is trying to force new ATF requirements on dealers in the border states, but for the most part they are not the “enemy”. An alert clerk at Guns Galore stopped a plan for mass murder by simply being alert and dropping a dime on a “strange” customer. Kudo’s to Greg Ebert!

Police in Killeen said their break in the case came from Guns Galore LLC — the same gun store where Maj. Nidal Hasan bought a pistol used in the 2009 attack. Store clerk Greg Ebert said the man arrived by taxi Tuesday and bought 6 pounds of smokeless gunpowder, three boxes of shotgun ammunition and a magazine for a semi-automatic pistol.

Ebert said he called authorities because he and his co-workers “felt uncomfortable with his overall demeanor and the fact he didn’t know what the hell he was buying.”
